Jose's Update
In terms of an update, word spread yesterday that Kara was sick and that the younger crowd would not be meeting. Teens then left before we could meet. Albert and I checked in, and briefly talked about what we might need to do for the rest of the Baptism classes (one left, basically). He thought it might be an overview of what to expect on Easter Sunday. Spirits seem high, and the uneasiness appears to have decreased. We've tried to focus on the celebratory part of Baptism, as well as the community aspect. I was hoping that Cat confirmed with me today about some tickets for Wednesday's Warriors game so that we could follow up a little more with the youth and their parents.

Kara Says...ugh. i'm sorry everyone left, jose! that wasn't supposed to be the plan... =/ what we're doing in the younger kids group on sunday: half the day will be about christian community, half is what to expect on easter sunday. do you know which youth are planning to get baptized? if they haven't been to class, let's figure out a time you or i can meet with them to clue them in on what they missed.
